From start to finish

I promised that I would share pictures of my hair braiding process. I apologize that I am not the most presentable in all of the pictures but I warned you that I go sans makeup during the process.

Took the Megabus from Chicago on Tuesday at 11:15P.

Arrived to Omaha at 8A on Wednesday tired and not a happy camper. Look at my roots. I needed to get my hair re-braided!

Unbraided my hair on Wednesday and had it professionally detangled because it was that much of a hot mess.

It took over 4  hours to detangle, shampoo, and straighten my hair. Look how long it is.

My aunt and I braided my hair for 2 hours on Thursday night. We made some progress but didn't get too far.

However, it was well worth the wait because I love my new hairstyle! We finished on Saturday afternoon.
